Post-doctoral Position with AVL-Tongji Scholarship

Post-doctoral Researcher sponsored by AVL ListGmbH at Prof. ZHOU Su’s teamsin School of Automotive Studies and CDHK AVL List chair, Tongji University，China.

Background:

To support the construction and development of School of Automotive Studies and the CDHK AVL List chairat Tongji University, an AVL-Tongji Post-PhD-Scholarshiphas been set up to provide honoring a post-PhD-student with excellent academic performance. Subject to the provisions of the Scholarship Agreement, Tongji University and AVL will agree on the choice of a Post-PhD-student who will receive the scholarship.

Position Description:

1. Applicants must have finally successfully received a PhD.
2. Applicants must be in the field of Automotive Engineering or Automation Engineering.
3. Applicants must demonstrate solid academic promise and in all coursework completed in previous academic year prior to the time of application. It also means the top 20% of the students in terms of academic grade point.
4. There should be no record of law-breaking or disobedience of regulations & rules.
5. Applicants must be proactive participator and outstanding performer in all activities organized by the institute or his (her) UNIVERSITY.
6. Active involvements and excellent performance in AVL-sponsored projects or programs will be fully backed by AVL.
7. Applicants must identify with AVL Values: Responsibility, Excellence and Innovation.

AVL Scholarship Regulations:

Scholarship Recipients shall be selected by a scholarship committee (the “Scholarship Committee”) comprising 1 chairman and 2 members appointed by AVL and TongjiUNIVERSITY respectively. The chairman of the Scholarship Committee shall be nominated by AVL.The management of AVL and the leaders of TongjiUNIVERSITY shall attend scholarship award ceremony, which shall be jointly organized by both Parties.
