Scientific employee for Technology Analysis and Marketing at Fraunhofer Representative Office Beijing

The Fraunhofer Representative Office Beijing represents the interests of the Fraunhofer-Association in China and advise the Fraunhofer headquarters as well as the Fraunhofer Institutes on all important issues in the country. The activities of the office focus on marketing and business development as well as on the monitoring of the scientific and innovation landscape in China.
The Representative Office supports Fraunhofer in its cooperation with enterprises in China, develops strategic partnerships with the best Chinese science organizations and serves as an interface to politics.
To strengthen our team in Beijing, we are looking for a committed employee to take on the tasks, among others:
• Analysis of technology development, identification of research trends
• Promotion of the Fraunhofer brand, public relations work and marketing
• Professional support of the Fraunhofer Institutes in industrial and research cooperation in China, on-site support of Fraunhofer scientists
• Development of strategic activities of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in China
• Development of the Fraunhofer network with Chinese industry, science and politics
• Conception and implementation of events
Requirements:
• University Degree in Engineering and Science or equivalent higher education. Doctor degree will be a plus.
• Professions: Mechanical Manufacture and Automation, industrial engineering, life science, physic, biomedical engineering, Pharmaceutics, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering
• Experience in industrial research
• Understanding of technology and innovation developments and research trends
• Diplomatic skills and basic knowledge in German culture
• Fluent written and oral Chinese, very good communication skills in English or/ and German
• Good communication and presentation skills, self-reliant working style
• Willingness to travel domestic and to Germany
